Once on the web we found a book Shambhala: Oasis of Light by Andrew Tomas, containing very interesting lines regarding the advent of Messiah Maitreya. Who is Andrew Tomas? This man (1906-2001) was initially named Andrey Tomashevskiy. Before the age of 20 he lived in Manchuria where his parents had emigrated due to the revolution in Russia. Later on, for many years he stayed in China, Japan and India, learning from Taoists, Buddhists and Brahmans. Moreover, he could safely be called a disciple of Nicholas Roerich and had first-hand knowledge of Europe, America and Australia. During the last decades of his life Andrew Tomas was formally an Australian citizen, but he said his home was the entire globe.
The next discovery is writer Théun Mares (4 July 1952 – 5 September 2011), born in Zimbabwe. He was one of the keepers of Toltec teaching, which he passed on in his books and on personal seminars to all who desired. We are not really interested in Mares’ personality or practical self-improvement experience. We refer to him due to an intriguing and somewhat prophetic literary extract from his book Return of the Warriors, where people from the cold North (as Slavs are usually described) and the One Truth are mentioned. Certainly, the extract has a rather indirect relation to our issue, however, as we know, many great events in history were predicted by fantasy writers long before emergence of such events.
As legend says, the initial miracle-working image of the Mother of God with seven arrows was drawn in remote antiquity. According to 19th century publications, this icon is over five hundred years old. In pre-revolutionary Russia there was a famous and respected copy of the icon, which was identified with its legendary original. However, particularities of the image iconography and the fact that the said copy was made on a canvas glued to a wooden board indicate its late origin. The copy was made in the 18th century, probably from the initial icon that had not been preserved and dated back to the 17th century, i.e. the time when many elements of Western iconography emerged in Russian painting. The wonderworking icon of the Mother of God “Seven Arrows” comes from northern Russia. Before the revolution it was kept in the Church of John the Divine on the bank of ToshnyaRiver, not far from Vologda. The legend about the icon resembles similar stories about Mother’s of God images seen in visions by different people. A peasant from Kadnikovsky uyezd (district) suffered from lameness for many years and had no hope already to get cured. Once he was sleeping, and a Divine voice ordered him to find an icon of the Mother of God in the Church of John the Divine bell tower where old icons were kept, and to pray in front of the icon with faith for his disease cure. Having come to that church, the peasant could not do right away what he’d been ordered in the vision. Only after his third request clergymen who did not trust his words let him enter the bell tower and go upstairs. It turned out the icon, being covered with dust and dirt, served as a simple wooden stair on which bell ringers stepped while going up or down the tower. Being terrified with their unintentional sacrilege, clergymen cleaned the icon and held a service in front of it, whereupon the peasant totally recovered. Several years later, the memory of the miracle started gradually fading away and could vanish totally, if it were not for a new God’s affair when the miraculous power of the Mother’s of God icon manifested itself again. In 1830, a horrible cholera epidemic overtook a major part of European Russia, including Vologda province. During the pestilence many sacred items were brought to Vologda from Toshnya, including the icon of the Mother of God with seven arrows, and placed in the “cold” (summer) Church of Dmitry Prilutsky on Navolok, in Vologda Zarechye, to the right of the main city bridge. Christ-loving inhabitants of Vologda held a religious procession with the Seven Arrows icon around the city. After the universal prayer in front of the wonderworking image, cholera abated just as suddenly as it had come.

Thus, controlling the flower growth, you artificially get rid of negative thoughts that constantly whirl in your head.”
Despite the fact that the Christan holy scripture – the Bible (New Testament) contains very few records of Virgin Mary’s words and deeds, her marvellous image and particular respect for her are found all over the world, to this day with inexplicable power attracting believers and atheists in different parts of the globe. We are returning to this wonderful luminous topic again, since we consider it to be one of the most worthy subjects to address and pay attention to. It deserves attention of all people for them to expand their limited understanding of the essence of hidden processes in the universe. Though many people are so far engrossed in earthly and transient things and fail the accept what they don’t physically see, though talks about spirituality and deep inner feelings provoke distrust and detachment, any opinion, even the most deep-rooted one, may be changed, while extinct interest may be inflamed with interesting and obvious facts, for facts are stubborn things.

Once upon a time, in the age which is nowadays called “the Age of Iron and Blood” or “the Era of Great Sorrow”, our planet was on the verge of total destruction. People who inhabited Earth at that time were mostly illiterate, cruel, greedy and carefree. Their unrestrained passion for hoarding and grabbing forced the Earth inhabitants to extort planet’s resources ungodly and outrageously. Violence against the Earth became so widespread and general that the Earth fell seriously ill. Its disease was so deep that it turned out to be incurable. Wounds and sores were all over the Earth’s body, its blood was pouring forth; it was totally fevering and shaking. Mountains were trembling and oceans were raging, and all those were symptoms of a fatal disease. However, that was not all. People turned so intolerant and hostile towards each other that they waged permanent wars which aggravated the Earth’s sufferings beyond any measure. Being ruled by brutal and covetous leaders, befuddled and fooled by insidious and avid priests, people killed each other in senseless wars with unbelievable cruelty and spite, as if wild animals.
Oh, it’s so hard to make myself write anything... My head is as if squeezed... I’m in stupor. At that, despite everything, certain clarity is preserved, and there is still the inner observer who simply and impartially records everything what is happening here and now.

The philosophical work entitled The Lost Pages of the Gospel, compiled by Denis Sokolov based on the analysis of sacred texts that make up the Holy Bible and of extant sacred legends, contains major ideas and statements by Jesus Christ. While reading this book, you as if travel through millennia and find yourself sitting in a serene warm evening, near the bonfire under the boundless starry sky, right next to Him – near and dear Jesus – and listen to His words with your soul widely open…
After reading the books by Anastasia Novykh, for two years I have been working on self-improvement. My progress is rather slow, but it is strongly felt. At that, you know, in the past I read many books on positive thinking and spiritual development, and thereafter I felt a desire to improve myself, too. However, my zeal lasted for just a couple weeks. Now I may conclude that only А. Novykh’s books have given me essential awareness that this life for us, humans, is the only chance to save ourselves, and another awareness I’ve got is that absolutely everyone can save oneself. I believe for the further spiritual development many Christians lack only this simple understanding.
