Forty signs of the Judgement Day

SIGNS OF THE JUDGEMENT DAY IN PRESENT-DAY INTERPRETATION

 

Numerous facts, prophecies and predictions referred to on our website indicate one and the same thing, and the information below also relates to this significant topic.

 

SIGN No. 1: EMERGENCE OF MOTOR TRANSPORT 

“Towards the end of my ummah there will be men who will ride on something like comfortable saddles, and will dismount at the doors of mosques; and their women will be clothed yet naked.” 

This prophecy on the emergence of motor transport (“saddles”) is amazing in its meaning, whereas the present-day garments of fashion-conscious women who are Muslims by blood only accentuate their nakedness. It should be mentioned that today mosques are full of praying people (many of whom come to the mosques on expensive “saddles”), and their wives, sisters and mothers do look clothed and naked at the same time, just like the Prophet (peace be upon him) predicted.

 

 

SIGN No. 2: DISRESPECT OF PARENTS

“A slave-girl will give birth to her mistress...” 

This allegorical statement by the Prophet (peace be upon him) describes relations between parents and children. Beyond all doubt, such time has already come, since today’s parent-children relations indeed resemble relations between a slaveholder and a slave. There is no respect for parents and elder people, and this is believed to be normal, although may this be really normal?

 

 

SIGN No. 3: MOSQUES TO TURN INTO PASSAGES

“Mosques will be used as passages...”

Closer to the Judgement Day people will enter mosques not for praying, but for other purposes, e.g. in order to walk through them. This will be the only reason for them to enter mosques. Furthermore, this statement may be understood allegorically. Perhaps, it means that for many people mosques will become places of visit only because this is fashionable and pleasant. Thus, many will go there neither for gaining Grace nor for worshipping Allah, but rather to look nice in the eyes of others. Unfortunately, this is already taking place nowadays.

 

 

SIGN No. 4: THE QURAN WILL TURN INTO A REED PIPE   

“Count six things before the Hour comes: power of the stupid, numerous guards, trade of power, disregard of blood, rupture of blood relations, and people who regard the Quran as a reed pipe. They will appoint one of them to conduct prayer, even if he is the least competent, only in order to hear him singing.”

The Prophet (peace be upon him) warns there will come a time of stupid, unreasonable rulers, a time of an increasing number of “guards” (police and army servants) (!!!), when state positions and titles will be bought and sold (i.e. obtained for bribes), when human life will have no value, and the entire purpose of the Quran will be reduced to nice reading. Nowadays, public administration in the absolute majority of Muslim countries contradict most of the Quran provisions, Muslims indeed only take delight in nice reading of the Quran without implementation of its principles and laws, and it has been so for already quite a while. The external has taken the place of the internal. Inner sincere belief in Allah has turned into outer formalism and literalism. External attributes have become a substitute for inner iman (faith).

“Forestall the coming of these signs by pious deeds,” the Prophet (peace be upon him) says, “in order to face these temptations with an unflagging heart full of firm faith.”

 

 

SIGN No. 5: FINANCIAL PYRAMIDS

 

“When any gain is shared out only among the rich, with no benefit to the poor; when a trust becomes a means of making a profit; when paying zakat becomes a burden; when a man obeys his wife and disobeys his mother; and treats his friend kindly whilst shunning his father; when voices are raised in the mosques; when the leader of a people is the worst of them; when people treat a man with respect because they fear some evil he may do; when much wine is drunk; when men wear silk; when female singers and musical instruments become popular…”

Eschatological statements by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) refer to the gloomy time when people will plunder public property and deceive investors (let’s recall the notorious financial pyramids), when loud voices will sound in mosques (perhaps, this refers to microphones used in mosques to amplify sound or to loud readings), when men will elevate their wives higher than their mothers and friends higher than fathers.

It is obvious that everything the Prophet (peace be upon him) said has been already taking place on earth for many years. The current chaos and anarchy are the best confirmation of the words by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

 

 

SIGN No. 6: PRIVATE SALUTATION

“Signs of the Judgement Day are private salutation and spread of trade where a woman will help her husband.”

It should be mentioned that Islam cultivates a salutation which according to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is one of the factors of fraternal love within the Muslim community and among humanity as a whole. By the Islamic etiquette Muslims should greet each other even if they have never met before. This is a sign of love and mutual favour. When Muslims begin to forget such a wonderful ethical norm this will be a sign of the Judgement Day, which is unfortunately already observable in the modern world. Suffice it to look at how Muslims communicate in social media where they throw mud at one another, swear and curse, in disputes and discord forgetting about the brotherhood of everyone obedient to Allah’s Will! The spread of business and trade is surely another obvious attribute of our time, and a characteristic feature of nowadays is women’s active participation in business. 

 

 

SIGN No. 7: IRAQ EMBARGO

“A time is approaching when Iraq inhabitants will have neither kafiz (dry measure) nor dirham (monetary unit)...” 

It is easy to guess this statement refers to the embargo that has been imposed on Iraq for already more than ten years. Such sanctions have caused death of over 1 million people due to famine and lack of medicines, and all that takes place by the silent approval of the so-called “civilised world”!

 

 

SIGN No. 8: SPREAD OF MURDERS

   
“I swear by the One in Whose hands is my soul that a time will come when a killer will not know whom and why he is killing, and the killed will not know what he is killed for.”

“Nothing personal, it’s just business” is the motto of many killers who don’t know why they kill their victims, whereas victims often don’t know who is his or her “death angel” and for which sin the “death angel” punishes, not to mention that tens of other innocent people often die along with the “ordered” victim. Nowadays, contract murders have become so widespread that many people started regarding killing as an occupation. Killers even have their own “code of honour”: they don’t touch women and children. However, even such “humanism” may be eliminated for a relevant amount of money. Tens of thousands of contract murders take place on the planet every year, not to mention numerous victims of military conflicts and wars.

 

 

SIGN No. 9: TIME FLEETINGNESS

“The Hour will not be established until trials and civil commotions become widespread, lying proliferates and markets become closer, and till time passes rapidly.”

This statement refers to time fleetingness (“time passes rapidly”) as today noticed by both young people and elder generations. Even scientists admit time has accelerated. It is known that over the last 12 years time has compressed at least 20%!  

As we can see, the prediction by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) has come true both literally and figuratively. As for lying, it is today observed at all social levels, beginning with cleaners and up to state leaders. “Markets become closer” apparently means international market integration, namely headed by the WTO. The approximation of markets may also be interpreted as rapid delivery of goods to other continents and prompt information exchange, which is in tune with the aforesaid time fleetingness. SIGN No. 10: NUMEROUS EARTHQUAKES

“The Hour will not be established until earthquakes increase...”

The number of earthquakes is increasing frightfully fast, especially in the last few years! Suffice it to look at statistical data on relevant resources in order to get convinced this prediction has already come true.

 

 

SIGN No. 11: UNWORTHY OF CONDUCTING AFFAIRS

“When affairs are entrusted to those who have nothing to do with them, expect the Hour of Judgement.”

Profanation of education and spread of corruption have caused a situation when today those who occupy managerial positions have neither proper education nor qualification nor moral cleanliness. Truly, “politics has turned into a dirty affair!”

 

 

SIGN No. 12: BAREFOOTED HERDSMEN BUILDING SKYSCRAPERS 

“Those times are that the slave-girl will give birth to her mistress, that you will see the barefooted ones, the naked, the destitute, the herdsmen of the sheep (competing with each other) in raising lofty buildings.”

Commenting on this Hadith, Muslim scholar Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali writes that “... it is consonant to the Hadith about the unworthy of conducting affairs. That is, when naked, barefooted, herdsmen of the sheep (i.e. ignorant people, dregs of society, criminals, thieves) become rulers, owners of capitals and resources and start competing in house construction, the order of religion and the organisation of life will be ruined...” Nowadays we are indeed ruled by criminals, thieves and murderers. By another version of the Hadith, the said herdsmen of the sheep who compete with each other in raising lofty buildings are Arab sheikhs who recently were ordinary barefooted herdsmen, while today they compete in building skyscrapers and ride on the most expensive vehicles.

 

 

SIGN No. 13: TIMES OF DISTORTING MIRRORS 

The times of distorting mirrors and substitution of values are to come for humanity, when “...liar’s words will be taken as the truth and words of an honest person will be taken as lies. Treacherous will be trusted, while faithful will be accused of trickery. Those will be the times of vacuous speeches.”

Some contemporary scientists comment on this Hadith from a global perspective: mass media controlled by certain influential figures and oligarchs, and most often ruled by Jewish Freemason circles, are deliberately forming a negative, odious picture of one or another event, phenomenon or personality in public consciousness. Thus, owing to the efforts of mass media the today’s image of Islam is mostly associated with bloodshed, extremism and terror. At that, the reasoning of Muslims themselves is often called in question and criticised. The aforesaid however is applicable not only to Islam and Muslims: honest and respectable people unsuccessfully strive for truth and justice all over the world! 

 

 

SIGN No. 14: MONGOL INVASION

“The Hour will not come before you fight against a people with yellow faces, small, slant eyes and flat noses. They wear hairy leather boots.” 

In the 13^th century, the Muslim caliphate was attacked by Mongol hordes. As Muslim scholar al-Nawawī later wrote, “In our age we faced Mongols whose appearance accurately match the Prophet’s description: slant eyes, flat noses and yellow oval faces resembling forged bucklers; dressed in hairy leather... Allah’s blessings be upon His Messenger who never spoke with partiality, but only according to the revelation he was given.” 

 

 

SIGN No. 15: CAMPAIGNS AGAINST INDIA

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) also predicted Muslim military campaigns against India: “Allah has saved two groups of my ummah from the hell-fire – the group that fights in India and the group that fights along with Eisa ibn Maryam (A.S.).”

Three centuries after this prediction was communicated, armies of the Samanid dynasty undertook military campaigns against India and won magnificent victories. As for the second part of the prediction, it obviously means that Muslims should unite with faithful Christians in order to jointly serve and worship Single God!

 

 

SIGN No. 16: CONQUEST OF CONSTANTINOPLE

Many sayings by the Prophet (peace be upon him) mention that Muslims are to conquer Constantinople. For instance, the authentic Hadith refers to the following Prophet’s words, “Verily you shall conquer Constantinople. What a wonderful leader will he be, and what a wonderful army will that army be!”

Muhammad’s prediction came true eight centuries later, in the age of expansion of the Ottoman Empire.

 

 

SIGN No. 17: BETWEEN THE EAST AND THE WEST

The Prophet (peace be upon him) often told Muslims about their future great conquests and victories. As a rule, Muhammad delivered his eschatological prophecies dedicated to such conquests in the days most difficult for Muslims, when they were exposed to murders and humiliations in Mecca or to heathen attacks in Medina. Such prophecies naturally seemed to be a fantasy against the then dismal background. Nonetheless, all Muhammad’s predictions came true with remarkable accuracy. Today Islam is present all over the world between the east and the west.

 

 

SIGN No. 18: SUDDEN DEATHS

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) forewarned of the increase of sudden deaths among humanity: “... sudden deaths will spread”. 

Our time may freely be called the age of strokes, heart attacks and other cardiovascular diseases that cause sudden human death due to a cardiac arrest.

 

 

SIGN No. 19: ISLAM STRANGENESS

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Indeed, Islam began as something strange, and it will return to being strange just as it began, so glad tidings of paradise be for the strangers.”

The thing is that Islam, having emerged in the 7^th century, was initially rather alien and strange to the inhabitants of Arabia. Followers of the new religion – early Muslims were exposed to insults, humiliation and cruel persecutions. In later centuries Muslims began to deviate from their religious principles and lifestyle, and in the modern world true Islam is consigned to oblivion. As it has been said above, external formalism and window dressing have replaced genuine pure faith. As for the statement “it will return to being strange just as it began”, these words once again prove brilliant sagacity of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) who many centuries in advance warned humanity of the Advent of Mahdi! The knowledge renewed by Mahdi teaches humanity subtle thinking and deep connection with Almighty Allah within one’s soul. Deep immersion in oneself (which is also called meditation) was customary at the beginning of Islam, and Prophet Muhammad himself (peace be upon him) spent long days and hours in the Cave of Hira close to Mecca in inner self-absorbed contemplation. Today Mahdi has brought the Knowledge again, and it again seems strange to many people! Knowing that this time will be painful for faithful Muslims, the Prophet (peace be upon him) supports and heartens them with his words communicated through centuries: “So glad tidings of paradise be for the strangers!” 

 

 

SIGN No. 20: MUSLIMS TO IMITATE WESTERN MORALS AND MANNERS

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “You will soon follow the ways of those who came before you, inch by inch, handspan by handspan, so much so that if they were to enter a lizard’s hole, you would do likewise.” They asked, “O Allah’s Messenger, do you mean the Jews and Christians?” He replied, “Who else?”

This refers to mass conformism, blind imitation and thoughtless adoption of western morals and manners by Muslims. Muslims are even ready “to enter a lizard’s hole” because Jews and Christians have done so. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used this allegorical expression to denote future imitation of western doings by Muslims, and nowadays we can observe his prediction having come true.

 

 

SIGN No. 21: SPREAD OF INTOXICATING DRINKS

“Some people of my ummah will drink khamr (“wine”, “alcohol”), calling it by another name.”

Today the list of alcoholic drinks contains tens or even hundreds of items, all of which represent a drug for humanity. As for present-day Muslims, one Sufi poet once noted rather correctly:

We are always full of unrealizable desires:

One our hand holds a glass, another one the Quran.

And so we live under the dome of heaven,

Being half-godless and half-Muslims.

 

 

SIGN No. 22: PEOPLE TO STOP ENJOINING GOOD AND FORBIDDING EVIL

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was asked, “O Messenger of Allah, when will we stop enjoining good and forbidding evil?” He responded, “When you display what other ummahs before you displayed.” They asked, “What did they do?” The Prophet (peace be upon him) responded, “When power is in the hands of paltry, when those of high status among you indulge in lechery, and knowledge is in the hands of vicious.”

Should we look at present-day reality, we can see everything is just like the Prophet (peace be upon him) predicted. Power is in the hands of paltry, whereas those who are regarded as trendsetters and perceived by ordinary people almost as divine beings (e.g. singers, actors and actresses, famous athletes, etc.) indulge in lechery. Everything in society is turned upside down. Those who dance on stages half-naked teach people from TV screens and magazine pages how they should live. Furthermore, the knowledge is in the hands of vicious: remains of the Knowledge given by Prophets is kept and abused by depraved cult ministers who use it for mass manipulation of human consciousness.

As a matter of fact, today’s human civilisation represents a community like that of Sodom and Gomorrah (and other similar communities mentioned in the Bible and the Quran). Lechery has become ubiquitous, manifested and established more at the governmental level, while hypocrisy and lies reign everywhere!

 

 

SIGN No. 23: SPREAD OF PROSTITUTION AND LECHERY

“The Hour will not come until people start covering themselves as donkeys in the streets.” They asked, “Will this really take place?” The Prophet (peace be upon him) answered, “Yes, it certainly will.”

Nowadays, large-scale trade of women’s bodies takes place all over the world. At that, not only female bodies are being sold: homosexual and children’s prostitution provokes horror, yet does exist! All this may be observed even straight in the streets. We can see how people, making themselves similar to animals, don’t feel shy to look for a “bitch” or a “stud” right in the street. In nearly every big city there are streets and even whole avenues intended for selling human bodies and dignity. Parks and lanes often become places of lechery and disgusting actions. The world has reached a peak of science and technology progress, but at the same time has stooped to the bottom of demoralization. 

 

 

SIGN No. 24: SPREAD OF LOAN INTEREST

“Before the Day of Judgement usury will spread.”

Nowadays, loan interest (usury) is a foundation of the global financial and banking system. Despite the fact that the Holy Quran strictly forbids charging interest, in almost all Muslim countries there are financial institutions engaged in interest-based commercial transactions. As of today, usury is “the basis of national prosperity”. It is considered normal when a state credits its citizens and other states or borrows money from international institutions (IMF, IBRD, and so on) and rich states for interest. Real financial enslavement or modern neo-colonialism takes place with poor countries becoming economically dependent and consequently suffering famine, devastation and wars.

 

 

SIGN No. 25: WAYS TO EARN LIVING

“The time will come when people won’t care whether to earn their living in a permitted or forbidden way.”

“All jobs are good, just choose according to your taste.” Nowadays, the situation in the world is such that the ends (gains and profits) justify the means. People no longer care which way they earn their living, relying on the “winners are not judged” principle. However, what is the price of such “victory”, and how do people pay for it later on?

 

 

SIGN No. 26: COLONIZATION OF MUSLIM COUNTRIES

Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) said, “A time is approaching when peoples will pounce on you from everywhere like wild animals pouncing on their prey.” They asked, “O Messenger of Allah, will this happen because we will be outnumbered?” He answered, “There will be many of you on that day, but you will be like dregs in a flow. Your enemies will no longer fear you, while your hearts will be seized with infirmity.” And when they asked, “What is infirmity?”, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “Love for earthly life and hatred of death.”

Today we can observe true economic exploitation when the USA and other capitalist countries, supported by loyal ruling circles, pounce on natural resources of Muslim countries like on a tasty dish. Manipulating tariffs and prices, having created an artificial US dollar cult, the West basically gets valuable raw materials from the Muslim world in exchange for dollar waste paper. Shabby behaviour of corrupt and greedy rulers in many Islamic countries evidence the words once said by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him): “your hearts will be seized with infirmity”, i.e. love for earthly life.Earthly welfare has overshadowed the minds of many Muslims, and they have in fact turned into enemies of Islam.

 

 

SIGN No. 27: LACK OF RIGHTEOUS PEOPLE

“Righteous people will disappear one by one until there are remains of them, scanty as those of barley or dates. Allah will show no care for them.”

Hardly any land today can boast of having many righteous people. We often complain about our bad situation, and some even blame Allah for not changing the situation for better. We forget the simple truth mentioned in the Holy Quran: verily, Allah won’t change the state of people until they change themselves. We ourselves are to blame for all our troubles. May everyone start improving oneself, and everything will be wonderful. At that, most importantly, let’s be optimistic!

 

 

SIGN No. 28: BRAGGING ABOUT MOSQUES

“The Hour will not come before people start bragging about mosques in front of each other.”

The times have already come when people erect and decorate mosques, trumpeting this via mass media, solely for the sake of glory, rating, political image and reputation of a faithful Muslim. Very few think such deeds only ruin them. Very few Muslims today give alms secretly from others, although Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “Hidden charity extinguishes Allah’s wrath.”

 

 

SIGN No. 29: INCREASE OF THE NUMBER OF WOMEN

“The number of women shall increase whilst that of men shall decrease, so much so that one man will care for fifty women.”

According to the present-day statistics, the total number of female population exceeds the number of men. Due to wars, imprisonment and other social cataclysms male population is drastically decreasing.

 

 

SIGN No. 30: WARS AND DISCORD WITHIN ISLAM

The Hadith repeatedly mentions that terrible shocks, ordeals, discord and internal wars are in store for the Muslim ummah. Thus, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) mentioned the beginning of internal discord within Islam, “The grindstone of war will start turning in Islam after 35 years. And if Muslims perish, that will be the way of the perishing...”

Fight for power and discord which started some 35 years after the death of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) marked the beginning of confrontation within the Muslim world. As of today there are about 70 branches and sects in Islam, and for a long time there has been neither peace nor unity among Muslims as Allah and His last Prophet willed.

 

 

SIGN No. 31: EMERGENCE OF FALSE PROPHETS

“There will be thirty liars, imposters before the Day of Judgement.”

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is God’s last Prophet in the long prophetical chain, and he is the Seal of the Prophets! At that, after Muhammad’s departure and up to Mahdi’s arrival false prophets were to emerge. However, everyone who declares himself a prophet is a liar, for there will be no prophets anymore.

 

 

SIGN No. 32: GRADUAL RUIN OF THE BONDS OF ISLAM

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “The bonds of Islam will inevitably be undone, one by one. Every time a bond is ruined people will firmly adhere to the next one. The first bond to be undone is power, the last one is prayer.”

Indeed, should we trace the history of the Muslim caliphate we will notice that power institutions guided by Sharia started ruining and degrading first. Eventually, as another Hadith says, the Quran turned into “a reed pipe to please one’s ear” or into a funeral book to be read on dead bodies. At the same time, gradual demoralization of Muslims took place as a natural result. Hence, only prayer distinguished Muslims from other people. Honesty, sincerity, courage, godliness, adherence to the given word – all this was dumped to the field of obsolete moral values. Yet, nowadays the overwhelming majority of Muslims don’t even think of five daily prayers prescribed by Allah, the Lord of the worlds, and many of those who do perform prayers spend the prayer time on mulling over diverse mundane affairs, or right after the prayer they plunge into their daily routine and forget about the Almighty.

 

 

SIGN No. 33: DISTURBANCES AND TEMPTATIONS THAT LEAD MUSLIMS TO DISBELIEF

“May your [pious] deeds forestall the approach of temptations which are similar to the night darkness. One greets the morning, being faithful, and reaches the evening already unfaithful, or greets the evening in faith and reaches the morning with no faith. He sells his religion in exchange for transient earthly blessings.”

Temptations, desires and fascination with earthly things, accompanied by the accessibility of forbidden things and doings actively promoted by mass media; plenty of religious and philosophical ideas and trends; a rabid pursuit of money and insatiable greediness... These and numerous other things represent terrible temptations for present-day Muslims, and it is very difficult to stand one’s ground. Nonetheless, there is a reliable means to stay the course: one should only accumulate pious deeds that strengthen faith and consciousness of a believer, and maintain purity of one’s thoughts, words and deeds! Pious thoughts, words and deeds repulse attacks of all and any temptations like an unshakeable rock.

 

 

SIGN No. 34: PLAGUE AND CONQUEST OF JERUSALEM

Talking to his associate Avf ibn Malik, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) listed six signs of the Judgement Day: “...My death, the conquest of Jerusalem, mass deaths among Muslims similar to cattle loss, the abundance of cash (one who gets even one hundred dinars will still be unsatisfied), temptations penetrating into every Arab house, and an armistice between you and Banu al-Asfar, but later on they will treacherously attack you under 80 banners, twelve thousand standing under each.”

Prophet’s death itself indicates the Judgement Day is approaching. This fact should give many people something to think about. Do we have much time left? Six years after Muhammad’s death, in 638 Umar ibn al-Khattab, the second caliph and faithful associate of the Prophet (peace be upon him), accepted the surrender of Jerusalem. Moreover, during his reign a plague epidemic broke out in Palestine and spread all over Shamu (Palestine, Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan). Thus, the prophecy of mass deaths came true, although some commentators interpret mass deaths as world wars. The abundance of cash, if we regard cash as wealth, was in place in the age of Muslim caliphate flourishing and still continues in many Arab countries (owing to petrodollars, some Arabs live in luxury, while millions of their brothers all over the world starve and lack the most necessary things). As for the one who is unsatisfied with one hundred dinars obtained, some researchers believe increase of prices is meant here. Such interpretation seems quite appropriate if we regard the abundance of cash as inflation and currency devaluation. “Temptations penetrating into every Arab house” according to Muslim scientists should be understood as propaganda in mass media and the way they communicate distorted, dirty information to every human house, particularly via TV, causing discord and temptations, and forming public opinions beneficial for certain persons. Modern PR and political technology work true miracles, forming and altering stereotypes and consciousness of millions of people all over the world. It has been a real perfidious attack on the Muslim world when certain US institutions arranged the act of terror on 11 September, declared Muslim countries guilty and started a vicious large-scale war of aggression where hundreds and thousands of civilians still die every day, being absolutely not privy to what the US secret service does. Under fabricated pretences and with the help of their allies and NATO members, they have perfidiously attacked many Muslim countries already, so this prophecy may also be considered realised.

 

 

SIGN No. 35: DEGRADATION OF MUSLIMS

Allah’s Messenger said, “From the signs of the Hour is that knowledge will diminish, ignorance will proliferate, and adultery (zina) will be prevalent.”

The Muslim civilization in the Middle Ages was a vivid seat of culture, science and thought, illumining the world with its light. It was also the one to give impetus to the European Renaissance. However, today the Muslim world is in a sad state: science is experiencing deep crisis, ignorance has got implanted, whereas mores and lifestyle of most Muslims are far from those enjoined by the Quran. Intoxicating drinks and substances, extramarital relations between the sexes have become commonplace in our life, even have turned into an attribute of heroism and proper behaviour. The majority of Muslims nowadays lack even an elementary knowledge of the Quran, being fully content with what they are “taught” by those who have a false idea of their own importance as teachers and mediators. Muslims no longer want to gain knowledge and have turned faith into rituals. They believe if they have performed a certain ritual everything is already fine and they can freely surrender themselves to earthly affairs. Hence, they forget that Islam is a way of life rather than performance of rituals and rites. The age of degradation of Muslims as predicted by the Prophet (peace be upon him) has set in, and we can already observe it everywhere around.

 

 

SIGN No. 36: DESIRE TO DIE BECAUSE OF HARDSHIPS AND TORMENTS

“I swear by the One in Whose hands is my soul that the Hour will not come until one who passes by a grave exclaims, “I wish I were in this grave in his place!” And it would not be due to fear for one’s religion, but because of troubles that person experiences.”

Not only hard life, social shocks and destruction of family institutions cause devastation and a feeling of senselessness of human life, but also the lack of faith. When a person has no faith, he or she fails to understand and implement the meaning of his or her life, physically and morally degrades, and can even commit suicide. In other cases, having achieved the highest level of earthly glory and material success, one comes to understand all that is “vanity and wind hunting” as Solomon said, where there is no hope for Eternal Life… Most people are absolutely disoriented, which often causes the gravest sin of suicide, and the reason is that humanity have lost the true meaning of their life.

 

 

SIGN No. 37: DESIRE TO SEE THE PROPHET (PEACE BE UPON HIM)

“The time will come when a desire to see me will surpass love for one’s family and property.”

Today many people are eager to see the Prophet (peace be upon him) and even understand the worship of Allah as affected love for the Prophet (peace be upon him) and permanent praising of him, although the Prophet himself (peace be upon him) always opposed this. At that, the greatest respect for the deeds of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is to resign to Allah’s Will, to the Covenant given by Allah through the Prophet (peace be upon him).

 

 

SIGN No. 38: INCOMPETENCE OF THOSE WHO GIVE KNOWLEDGE

“The sign of the Hour is when people will seek knowledge from the unknowledgeable.” 

Today we can definitely observe how many become active preachers, ulema, imams or sheikhs and teach people what they lack themselves, at best possessing some book knowledge. Having read one or another treatise, they teach worship of and faith in Allah, but have doubts and no faith inside themselves. Unfortunately, people trust and seek knowledge from such “teachers” because the latter speak nice phrases and cite Arabic verses from the Quran. People are not even interested in what is inside those “teachers”, while the latter lack the most important – a connection with the Almighty via deep inner feelings.

 

 

SIGN No. 39: MUSLIMS TO RETURN TO POLYTHEISM

“The Hour will not come before tribes of my ummah join heathens and start worshipping idols...” “The Last Hour will not come until the women of the tribe of Daus are seen going round Dhi al-Khalasa (for worship).”

There was Dhi al-Khalasa sanctuary in Tabala, where the deity of war was presented by a stone with a crown on it. In the sanctuary there was also a statue of a warrior armed with a bow. In the present-day world people have lost understanding of the life of full value and are ready to worship everything, beginning with a dollar bill and up to war idols.

 

 

SIGN No. 40: HOUSES BELONGING TO THE DEVIL

“Camels and houses will belong to the devil. As for camels belonging to the devil, I already saw how one of you heavily loaded camels, neither sitting on the camel himself nor giving a ride to his brother. Yet, I haven’t seen houses belonging to the devil so far.”

Perhaps, this prophecy refers to the cases when a man today can own one or more uninhabited houses, at the same time giving no help to his hapless and needy brothers and sisters in faith. The same applies to “camels”, i.e. vehicles (many modern commentators of the Hadith interpret camels exactly as motor vehicles). Indeed, many well-off Muslims today have whole vehicle fleets, but they neither help their brothers in faith nor even give them a ride on the way, sweeping past and splashing them all over with dust and puddle water. As for the second part of the prophecy, let’s recall brothels and gambling houses or casinos where people please the Satan via usury, alcohol drinking, drugs taking and dissolute dancing. All these are nothing but Devil’s houses.

 

 

SIGN No. 41: MADNESS AND PERTURBATION BEFORE THE JUDGEMENT DAY

When Allah’s Messenger said, “There will be a major perturbation before the Day of Judgement”, he was asked, “What does a perturbation mean?” He responded, “Murder.” Then some Muslims said, “O Allah’s Messenger, today we fight with heathens, too.” The Prophet (peace be upon him) responded, “It’s not about fighting with heathens. You will start killing each other: one will kill his neighbour, his cousin or other relative.” They asked, “Will we be of sound mind?” He answered, “Most people of that time will go out of their mind. They will give birth to as many people as specks of dust fluttering in the air, but they all will have no mind.” 

Imagine a society of insane people who give birth and grow children in the state of social madness. Children who shoot their teachers and classmates from Winchester rifles and heavy-calibre guns… Children, parents and relatives brutally killing each other… Violence which cannot be grasped via human mind… Violence engendered by madness of the age…

 

 

The grievous reality of today irrefutably evidences a stubborn fact that the time mentioned in all prophecies and predictions has already come. The future depends on whether humanity chooses devastation and ruin or true life in harmony and happiness. The Knowledge and chances are given – the Choice is ours...
